RiC Workflow

Automatic Sync

When you create or edit an archival description in AtoM/Heratio, the RiC sync service automatically:

1. Detects the change via event listeners
2. Generates RiC-O triples from the description fields
3. Queues the sync to the Fuseki triplestore
4. Updates the graph - new nodes and edges appear in the Explorer

Manual Sync

For bulk updates or initial population: 1. Go to Admin → RiC Dashboard 2. Click Sync to Fuseki 3. Monitor progress in the sync log

Integrity Checks

Run periodic integrity checks to ensure data consistency: 1. Click Run Integrity Check on the dashboard 2. Review any orphaned triples or missing records 3. Use Preview Cleanup before executing deletions
